Old Hollywood Prep

We're in the hOme stretch! Yesterday was a busy day. Alli and i met up for lunch and checked out the hotel for our Old Hollywood photo shoot.
It was FABULOUS! the fire place, the bed, the color scheme. This should do the trick. Tonight I'm calling the hotel to see if they will allow us access to their beautiful courtyard gorgeous staircase. Fingers crossed. Wish us luck.

Next it was off to the Department store to find the digs. The drapes for the 50's 60's style models. There were great choices. Best bet, let the stylist Alli, free in her "Candy Store". We hit the 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors. Looked thru rack after rack. Alli Cat and i made decisions. Soon our arms (well Alli's arm lol) were heavy with many options. Our selections had been narrowed down. A hold tag & coffee break with Tasha later, and we were back for the fitting phase.

One of our lovely models Averi accompanied us to try on the clothes we selected. She fit everything like a glove. Which brings us down to some of our Final Selections.

Selection 1:

A beautiful off white/cream lace cut out styled dress that was 'to die for'. The hair, we're thinking a loose texture french twist. Shoes, black pumps. Jewelry to be decided.

Selection 2:

A Merlot velvet gown with jeweled side accent. Very Rita Hayworth. The hair, we're thinking, side part, soft finger waved texture, brushed & fluffed out. Jewelry and shoes to be discovered.

Selection 3

This Red Structured look is very sophisticated. Hair, sleek structured bun with a inward victory roll. Jewelry and shoes to be decided.

Selection 4

This look is GOGO-licious! The hair,  loose.. Lacy.. & back combed with winged bang. The Shoes Color Blocked gray.. blue.. black & platformed!
